But it’s also the only path that allows you to stand firmly in who you are, without the fear of being exposed. As Scripture reminds us, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity” (Proverbs 11:3). And again, “Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool” (Proverbs 19:1). That kind of integrity isn’t just lasting—it’s freeing.
